A board room is an area where a team holds meetings, usually those that are chosen by shareholders to run the business. It could also be rooms where members meet to make important business decisions like choosing an interim CEO or opening branches. A boardroom is also a virtual conference room in which groups can meet online. Virtual meetings have numerous benefits, including enhanced governance, more attendance, lower travel costs and a greater diversity of board members.

The term”boardroom” can also be used to describe a sports media outlet that was founded by NBA star Kevin Durant. The network, called the Boardroom, features discussions about culture and sports with famous and professional athletes. It is in partnership with NBCSN and has the original show The Boardroom with Durant and Rich Kleiman.

If a candidate is removed from the show then an emergency Boardroom will be held to discuss their actions. This usually happens if the candidate has violated rules or behaved in a manner that caused other contestants to be uncomfortable. In season 10, for example there was an emergency Boardroom was set up after candidate Anand sent a text message to his pals, asking them to pay for a pedicab in violation of the rules of the show.

The Boardroom is reference set on a lot that is studio-like and the walls are lined with mirrors that hang from them. The seats for the candidates are situated on one side of a large table, with chairs for the advisers on the other. The chair of the boss is more than the rest to highlight the power of his or her boss.
